6/17/09 11:33 pm - Main House Room 7, Saturday Evening

Palmetto bugs, what the hell? Louisiana was evil. Or at least that was Carson's opinion on it at the moment.

He lay sprawled out on the bed, glad that all the damn moving was done. On his part, anyway. He still had to help Savannah and Lindsay finish moving. But that was tomorrow, which was not today. (Such logic, this one.)

His cell phone rang; he was just tired enough that he didn't look at the caller ID before answering.

"Hello?"

[For guest character Johnny! It had to happen. Also, is taking place during the reception on Saturday and is going up now for our sanity, to not clog the other post, and for great SP justice.]

3/27/09 05:25 pm - Servant's Quarters, Room 6, Friday Evening

Carson was understandably more than a little nervous about this. He'd never celebrated a first anniversary with a girlfriend before, so figuring it all out had damn near driving him crazy. But Piper's advice and Eve's equally helpful but far more handwavy advice had gotten him to where he could make a plan.

Which was why he had presents sitting on his bed and dinner set up on the small table in his room. He'd found two chairs from somewhere and dragged them in. Best not ask where. Someplace was possibly missing two chairs. He'd put them back, though, really.

Now all he needed was the girlfriend.

[For she that knows who she is.]

2/26/09 10:27 am - Servant's Quarters, Room 6, Thursday Early Afternoon

Carson had a month to go, but he was already working at planning something special for his and Savannah's first anniversary. He wanted to make it really amazing because A: she was his girlfriend, B: he loved her, and C: she deserved it after everything she'd been through the past year.

He was sitting at his desk researching possible date activities on the internet.

"Oh, I wish your grandmother could've met you," Carson said with a sigh. "She would've loved you."

"She gets to meet us in the future, Dad," Colin said from where he was sprawled on the floor with a book. "And she does love us."

"I know, but I wish she could have met you now." Carson smiled sadly. "Well, your mother should be back soon. She took Aliante off for some private mommy daughter time before you guys go home."

[Goodbye for the Beckett brood!]

6/1/08 09:35 pm - Servant's Quarters, Room 6, Sunday Night

Aside from the news, Carson hadn't seen much of Savannah over the past few days. That was to be expected, though, with the prospective students. But they'd all cleared out now, so Carson was making mental plans to take Savannah to dinner sometime soon just because they hadn't really had an official, going-all-out type date in a while.

The door was open so he could look across the hall and hopefully catch Savannah when she came back from wherever she was.

4/6/08 02:32 pm - Servant's Quarters, Room 6, Sunday Afternoon

Carson couldn't help but be a little bit pleased by what Savannah had said on the news the night before. But at the same time, he wasn't entirely sure. She had been talking about him, right? He didn't think it would've been anybody else. Especially since they'd handwavily hung out for a while after she got done with the news.

He was a natural worrier, though, when it came to something he cared about and he very much cared about her. (Not that she was a thing, of course.)

Meh, he'd just ask her the next time he saw her. If he could figure out how to say it, of course.

3/26/08 12:13 pm - Servant's Quarters, Room 6, Wednesday Afternoon

Carson had been planning to talk to Savannah about something during class the previous day, but it'd been canceled. Which meant that he'd had to come up with another plan.

... This explained why he was puttering around his room with the door open while waiting for Savannah to get back from class.

3/18/08 03:27 pm - Servant's Quarters, Room 6, Tuesday evening

Carson had made a run into town after class and now he was just waiting for Savannah to come by. He was worried about her, yeah, but he was also a little pleased with the fact that she wanted to come over and spend time with him. He liked that she trusted him.

He wasn't going to make a big deal of it, though. If she wanted to talk, he'd listen. If she just wanted to hang out, then that was fine with him, too.

Until then, he was just going to sprawl out on his bed and read a book.

3/16/08 12:26 am - Servant's Quarters, Room 6, Saturday night

Carson frowned as he changed the television channel. Savannah had been upset and he didn't like that. Something hadn't seemed right. There had been more to the way she held herself, to the look in her eyes, but he couldn't quite figure out what.

Which was why he was waiting in his room, door open so he could watch for Savannah to get back.

3/10/08 08:19 pm - Servant's Quarters, Room 6 (and the hallway), Monday night

It was late enough that most people were in bed, but Carson wasn't tired. No, he was just the teeniest bit nervous about tomorrow and his first class. He was distracting himself by sitting at his desk and surfing the internet.

He stilled when he heard a sound. He figured it was just someone walking, since he did have his door open. But even so, he glanced over into the hallway just in time to see Savannah shutting her door. His first thought was that the door opening must've been what he'd heard. His second thought was Holy crap, she looks upset.

Curious and more than a little worried, he stood and went to the doorway, poking his head into the hallway. "Savannah?" he said gently. "Are you all right?"

3/6/08 11:43 am - Servant's Quarters, Room 6, Thursday afternoon

Carson had made a vow never to step out of his room again, between the time-traveling girl from 1402 and the attacking library books.

This had lasted all of a couple hours and then he'd gotten hungry. He'd had to brave the Milieux insanity but luckily hadn't gotten attacked by his breakfast. And now he was walking down the hallway, heading back to his room.

3/3/08 01:31 pm - Servant's Quarters, Room 6, Monday afternoon

Well, this was it. Carson was officially moved into his room at school. His parents had left that morning after a tearful goodbye that'd embarrassed him in front of more than a handful of people.

And now he was unpacking his suitcase, with the door to his room open in case anybody wanted to stop by and poke their head in.

[Open as can be -- please welcome the adorable Scottish boy!]

"Aye, you've reached Carson's voicemail. Leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can."
